Thats where we come in. We want your day to be enjoyable & free of any hassle or stress. You’ll be surrounded by friends, family & loved ones; all of whom are there so see you tie the knot and end the day as husband & wife.  You should be celebrating, care free and living in the moment. Our wedding photography is mostly a documentary style, standing back & looking for key moments & emotions which so often get missed. I feel this style enables you and your guests to feel relaxed which always make for better pictures. However; if you want traditional posed photographs or a mixture of both we're there to help you create perfect, timeless photographs which will last a lifetime for you and your friends & family to enjoy.

FAQ's

​

Where are you based and how far do you travel?

We're based in Liverpool and cover the whole of the North West. We don't add any additional mileage costs within 50 miles of Liverpool City Centre. We're always happy to travel further afield but we may add additional mileage/accommodation fees.

How can we meet to discuss our options?

We're more than happy to meet you anywhere you wish. We like to meet all our clients face to face before a wedding to become familiar with you and what you'd like from us. You also get to meet us which we find always puts your mind at ease. You can come to our studio, we can meet at your home or we also love meeting clients at a local bar or coffee shop to discuss all things wedding related.

Do we need to arrange transportation for you?

You'd be surprised how often we get asked this and even more surprised with how many other photographers require you to sort their transportation between venues.  We however; drive our own cars, have full clean UK licences with zero points and have even been known to offer the occasional lift to a guest who turns up last minute.

Can we alter the packages offered?

Absolutely. Our packages have been tailored to suit all budgets and you will get everything that is included in the packages. However we can always alter certain things from them or add additional features. Just drop us a message if you have any specific requests.

 

How fast will we get the finished products? 

This depends entirely on the package you choose and prints you may want. Our Gold package offers digital only products so the turnaround for these images is a lot quicker than our Diamond & Platinum packages which offer a variety of prints. In general we do aim to have all packages completed within 6-8 weeks of the Wedding day.

Do we need to include meals for you?

The short answer is no. You have enough planning to do with all your friends and family so we don't expect to be included when you're arranging meals for your guests. Again, you'd be surprised how many photographers request this as standard. We're also going to be up and about photographing the rest of your day and we certainly don't want to be doing this after a 3 course meal. All we require is a bit of time throughout the day to have a break and we'll bring our own lunch. This is usually done when you and all your guests are eating and don't want to be photographed anyway. 

 

Do you offer Wedding Albums?

Yes we can do Wedding Albums for you but we don't offer this is as standard in our Additional Purchases section. The reason being is that the variety & styles can be huge. Albums can vary in sizes from small A5 sizes right through to large coffee table size books. They can also vary on how many images you want in them, how many images per page, how many pages in total, what material you'd like the Album in, would you like it in a presentation box etc... etc... etc...

These variations mean we can't always give a price straight away. Of course we could offer a standard album in one size with a certain number of images in the same material for everyone but we like to be upfront and honest and give you a unique choice for your special day.  We will of course show you some examples of albums when we meet and let you know how much they would cost well in advance.

What are your payment options?

We require a deposit of £250 to secure your booking. You can pay the rest in instalments if you wish. We'll keep you updated with records/receipts of the payments you make to us. The full balance is required at least 1 week before your wedding day. As we keep & backup copies of all of the images we take for an extensive period of time, any additional purchases can be made at any point before or after your wedding day.

We are a devoted husband & wife team currently celebrating our 21st year together as a couple and have spent over 15 years working together as a team. We work best as a pair; in fact its the one thing we always hear from wedding guests - how impressed & happy they were that they chose us to capture their day. Our lead photographer has a BAHons degree in Photography & Digital Imaging as well as City&Guilds Qualifications in all aspects of maternity, newborn & toddler photography so you literally couldn't be in safer hands. We are members of The Societies of Photographers & both continue to attend various workshops, seminars and roadshows constantly learning, perfecting our craft and ensuring you get the absolute best from us. 

Along with this, all of our packages come with 2 photographers - this enables us to be in different places at your venue capturing different angles, guests and most importantly, the bride & groom. We always love to meet beforehand to have a consultation too. This enables you to meet us, discuss your themes and ideas, you get to ask any questions you want and also just put your minds at ease. We're both extremely relaxed and love meeting couples who are planning their wedding, whatever stage you may be at. Additional Purchases

At Lighthouse creations we want to make our packages & additional purchases as affordable, simple & understandable as possible. We also recognise that you may want to purchase additional products after your shoot & after you've selected the images included in your package. Therefore, as part of every booking made with us we promise to keep your images safely stored for up to a year after your shoot so that if you wish to add additional purchases all you need to do is get in touch with us.
