At Lighthouse Creations we are committed to providing you with outstanding images of your children’s  “moment’s in time" with professional portraits that will last a lifetime. Whether that be a birthday milestone, cake smash, graduation, prom night photos or anything else you wish to celebrate you can expect an easy, comfortable and fun experience. We connect with your children and enjoy taking photos of each moment, and all the unpredictable bits that happen in between.

Our goal is to connect with you & your children and preserve the particular chapter your family is in right now so that when they are grown you’ll be able to look back at your photographs and remember their adorable dimples, funny mannerisms or their educational milestones. You’ll be able to remember the story of your children’s lives and be able to pass these memories on for many generations to come. We’re more than happy to work with individuals, siblings, friends or groups to create natural, candid or posed portraits that capture the essence of who your children are. We guarantee your children will not be sat on chairs or stools for hours whilst we adjust our lighting, nor will we be advising them to "sit up straight” - thats not who we are. Our photography is fun and maybe a bit different; our studio is set up to allow your children to be themselves and its our job to catch it while it's happening!

Important Guidance

• Our childrens sessions are great fun to shoot and differ significantly depending on a variety of factors such as amount of children, ages of children, special requests ect. Therefore we schedule plenty of time for breaks, non-messy snacks, changes of outfits etc. so that your shoot feels fun and relaxed. Please feel free to bring anything you wish to make sure you and your children feel comfortable. 

• When booking a cake smash session at our studio photoshoot we invite clients to choose a cake colour and style plus backdrop setting before they arrive at the studio as this gives us time to set up the preparations without having you and your children waiting around. This can all be arranged when making your initial booking. If you decide to change your mind once booked, no problem at all; please just let us know at least 48 hours before you arrive for your shoot so we can have this ready for you. 

• Comfort is key in all of our sessions. We suggest bringing a couple of outfits to your shoot whether that be at our studio or out on location. Bright, bold colours and layers are great for outdoor shoots and suitable clothing is recommended depending on factors such as the season, weather and your choice of location. If possible, bold patterns, clothes with logos, characters or writing is generally not recommended. If shooting in our studio matching outfits can be fun to work with but we'll give further advice when making your booking and we're fully aware of what you want from from your shoot 

• If you've booked a location shoot outdoors and the the weather forecast is not looking great, we'll be in contact with you a day or two before our session to either move the shoot indoors to our studio or we'll simply reschedule to a more suitable date.
