At Lighthouse Creations we aim to make our maternity photo shoots enjoyable, peaceful & relaxed. Our maternity photos are all about capturing your personality in a classic timeless way.  Being pregnant is an amazing feeling; we want you to be able to relive this feeling and be filled with joy every time you look at the final images. We provide a high quality of service and strive to make everyone who enters our studio feel comfortable, confident and ready to capture some amazing photographs. 

Maternity photoshoots are primarily and obviously based around the expectant mother however; we realise there are a lot of excited, expectant fathers out there too. When booking any one of our maternity packages we include photos of both expectant parents if you wish; all included in the cost of your package at no extra fee. 

Important Guidance

• We recommend shooting your session between 28-32 weeks when your bump is at its most prominent and fully-formed. We also advise that you book your session as far in advance as possible. 

• We offer a range of maternity gowns in a variety of colours and fabrics but always encourage our clients to bring any clothes you feel comfortable in or want to be specifically photographed in.

• At Lighthouse Creations we’re experienced in all aspects of studio lighting and being able to control this to enable us to provide you with the best images, However, we are fully able to shoot at a specific indoor or outdoor location if you wish. (additional fees may apply) 

• Professional hair & make-up can make a massive difference in maternity photos, especially if you want a specific theme. Plus, its always lovely to get pampered and feel good before a shoot. This is completely optional and entirely your preference however; we can offer a hair and/or make-up artist to work with you before shoot. (additional fees may apply)
