Here at Lighthouse Creations we understand the importance of family photography and are able to capture the adorable moments and intense love of your family. As your family grows, these invaluable memories should be cherished. We’re here to celebrate your families unique bond and relationship. 

Our photography sessions whether they take place in our studio or outdoors on location, are filled with fun & laughter and the images created will be elegant and dynamic. No matter how many members are in your family, we’ll be able to shoot a mixture of natural, candid or posed family portraits and make sure we photography your entire family, just the parents, just the kids and a mixture of both etc.

Important Guidance

• Family sessions are great fun to shoot and differ significantly depending on a variety of factors such as amount of family members, ages of children, special requests ect. Therefore we schedule plenty of time for breaks, non-messy snacks, changes of outfits etc. so that your shoot feels fun and relaxed. Please feel free to bring anything you wish to make sure you and your family feel comfortable. 

• We live in a modern age. Many families simply don't consist of the stereotypical 2 point 4 children many of us have grown up to recognise. Our family photoshoots are inclusive of your family, whoever you decide that may be. We understand that many of us recognise Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins or even close friends as your family; therefore they are more than welcome to join you in your shoot if you wish. 

• Comfort is key in all of our sessions. We suggest bringing a couple of outfits to your shoot whether that be at our studio or out on location. Bright, bold colours and layers are great for outdoor shoots and suitable clothing is recommended depending on factors such as the season, weather and your choice of location. If possible, bold patterns, clothes with logos, characters or writing is generally not recommended. If shooting in our studio matching outfits can be fun to work with but we'll give further advice when making your booking and we're fully aware of what you want from from your shoot 

• If you've booked a location shoot outdoors and the the weather forecast is not looking great, we'll be in contact with you a day or two before our session to either move the shoot indoors to our studio or we'll simply reschedule to a more suitable date.
